Premium explanation from SSI…
In the explanation by SSI, it was reminded that the payment period of the premiums of 2017/February was postponed to 2017/December with article 28 of Law no 6770 and temporary article 72 of Law no 5510 and it was reported that 26 December 2017 would be the deadline for the payment of the premiums of both postponed 2017/February and 2017/November with a provision added to the Social Security Transactions Regulation that was published on the Official Gazette dated 5 December 2017.
According to the explanation; “the insurance premium debts that are postponed until 2017/February should be paid until 26/12/2017 and the premium of 2017/November (Current month) should be paid until 26/12/2017 (this day inclusive).
In case of failure to pay the postponed insurance premiums and current month premiums until the end of this time (except for the businesses which were registered in 2016 and before), it will not be possible to benefit from minimum wage support in the months following the date this time expires.
Moreover, in case of failure to pay the postponed insurance premiums and current month premiums until the end of this time, no incentive declaration will be issued unless these debts are paid.
